After a duel between Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez in the fight for victory at the Jerez GP, the Italian rider came out on top. In addition to this positive duel, Ducati couldn’t have been better, with three bikes from the Italian manufacturer on the podium.

Gigi Dall’Igna, the general manager of Ducati Corse, is used to this kind of fight between Ducati riders and spoke to Sky Sport MotoGP about the performance of his rider, Pecco.

– ‘Pecco rode sublime, resisting Marquez’s attacks perfectly. His performance in the final laps, especially on worn tires, proves that he is a champion.

He also spoke about the topic that runs through the MotoGP paddock: who will take the factory seat for next season?

– ‘It’s a big responsibility. We want to offer the best to our riders, but ultimately we’ll have to make a difficult choice.
